Is it real?

I know to get to the bottom of this quick, I would need a tester, but lacking that, what do you think?

I didn't put anything in the pic for size, so lets say a touch smaller than a pencil eraser.

I found it on the floor of a gameroom.

So what say you? Real or not? Last pic is looking down at the point.

To me it just don't have the sparkle that a real diamond has.
But that is just my guess.
However that is a good eyeball find,you never know.
Hope it turns out to be real

Looks like cut glass to me, get a magnifying glass and look at it up close, the camera quality is great, with those close ups, you can see what looks like tiny bubbles in side the object......I would be safe to say costume jewelery.....unless that is just dust partials I see on the object......cool find.......take it to a jeweler and have them look at it......let me know what they say.....I would be interested in their answer.....good luck and keep a sharp eye.......you never know.....HH

There are a couple of quick things you can do that will give you more information. Only diamonds cut diamonds so look very closely at the facets and the edges of the facets. If there are scratches or chips, probably not a diamond. Most all diamonds have either inclusions (white specks/streaks) or carbon particles (black specks) use at least a 10x loupe and see if you see any. If not, probably not a diamond. Also a diamond will not fog like glass when you breathe on it.

A jeweler or a Pawn Shop can tell you as well. They use an electrical resistance tester for diamond/not diamond. Unless you trust the person, don't sell it to them if they say it is not a diamond but a ----- stone and they can use it.

Take it to a jeweler and have it tested. Only way to tell such. Folks will tell you they can, yet such is a good way to lose. Have it tested.
