Is lead worth keeping for scrap?

Yep, hold onto that lead Jeff , it sure is a lot easier to process than lead in a car battery and as such is worth more.

find someone that makes fishing weights, diving weights, fishing jigs they'll pay alot better than a scrap price. Here's another tip, if you find the old window weights, the cast iron ones, commercial fishermen use them for their bandit rigs, I've been getting 1.50 to 2.00 each for the past ten years for them. Of course I live in the fishing capital of the world but hey, crabbers and lobster guys would use them too.

I work in commercial roofing. I usually direct the crews to cut the pipe leads off prior to starting the demo of the roof. Lead has started paying decent.

Nah, no crush, sell it as you find it...

You could probably put your name and phone number on a scrap of paper at any gun shop or tackle store.

Got 80# WW for $80 and you'd get response.
