Is the CZ-3D still a viable machine for its age?

Hi all. Getting ready to get back in the hobby so am looking to pick up a new weapon. Thinking of either the 3D or maybe a G2. I live and hunt in Indiana and hunt for old silver, coins, jewelry, etc. What are your thoughts?

MORE than viable! Probably thee best coin machine on the planet! Absolutely LOVES old deep coins especially nickels! Get one and send it to NASA Tom Dankowski. You will NOT be sorry!

Any of the CZ detectors are still a good detector. I have the CZ-6a and 3 coils, with the 5" coil it does very well in trash. I chest mount mine and can hunt a long time without fatigue.

(watch out for the CZ-6 unless it has been converted to accept the standard CZ coils)

Can't comment on the G2, never used one.

Try to find an older one in decent shape and already NT tuned.
