Hey there, I'm wondering about the recovery time on some of the Bounty Hunter line. now I know recovery time is not everything. Case and point being my Tracker IV has good recovery time but shallow depth. My 2200 has a blow out in heavy iron, and will not pick up any other signals for a few seconds. I just wonder if machines like the Sharpshooter or Landstar, have a faster recovery time?
Now I'm very familiar with the Ace line and must admit, I'm not a fan of it, and honestly found the 250 to have the same problems as the 2200. I'm told I should look to units like the Platinum or F-2 or F-4

My old Pioneer 101 was terrible at recovery time. I have the Platinum now and the recovery time is amazing.

I never had any recovery time disappointments on the LandStar. I have used that machine with a great amount of success.

I had no problems with the Land Star, but it is not a real fast motion or response(no delays though) machine. The Platinum looks like the real deal to me.

I agree with that. The Platinum seems to be the fastest machine in the BH line.

Yes I had the platinum and is fast, sensitive & deep but does not work on the beach and is also a zinc penny magnet. I sent it back and after 10 years still using the quickdraw 2.
