Right size for a stove door, larger would could be a boiler door? Tony

Wm. Resor did make wood stoves. I found a patent issued to Wm. Reser in 1855 and another that a half interest was assigned to the co. in 1878. I also found them mentioned in 1905. Here's a #25 stove door from the same company.

any idea of it's age..got it soaking now looks like it might clean up great..then some clear polyurethane..

Yep, that's a stove door, no doubt about it. Sold many of them at the old antique store.
