Always nice to have multiple pictures of different sides if asking questions. Looks like full grooved axe, but cant be sure without seeing the other side of the axe.

Grooved axe... not a double groove..
3/4 groove or full groove, can’t say with that pic.

Assuming the one groove goes all around, its an archaic full groove ax.
