Definitely a rock this time in my opinion (I assume your alternative was fossilized bone). But don't take my word for it, simply try the tongue test. Put your tongue against any random spot on it. When you take your tongue off, if there is noticeable suction, that's a good sign in favor of it being fossilize bone. If there is no suction, that's a bad sign. Rudimentary, but it works.

In that case, don't mind me! This is why I miss all the good stuff. Obviously the tongue test isn't proof-positive, but it's a good sign. Hopefully someone else will have some thoughts.

I'd go with it may be a trace cast of the edge of a scallop or similar shell.

Tongue test isn't an accurate or reliable way to tell. Some people swear by it, but it's not a pure litmus.

Tongue test also works well on coprolites.
