Is this a marble?

Hey All,

Found this today while digging an unrelated hit. I think it's a marble but it's a little strange so I figured I'd ask here. It's definitely not plastic, I tested it scientifically by biting into it a little bit with my front teeth and the texture was mineral-ish. It's really hard to get a decent picture of it, but it looks almost like a little ball of butter. Almost opaque but I can see little bubbles/imperfections below the surface.

Any ideas?
