✅ SOLVED Is this a military ring or just a yunker?

I'm trying to find out if this partial ring I found its military or just a junk ring, I'm not sure what it's made of, it's silvery color underneath the patina , but is not silver, someone suggested pewter but not sure. It rings 49 on the At Pro.

That's a head scratcher. Kind of looks like the emblem on an enlisted mans dress hat. But the quality of the ring suggests it's not the real deal.
