Is this a Native American Artifact?

This was found in Hickory County Missouri. Looks to me to be some type of spear point. Does it look to be a true artifact?

yep...broken point, snapped in half. Atlatl I would guess too...if I had found it where I hunt I would guess at its age to be pretty darn old too. could also have been a knife point..... but it is a "for sure"

Yes it looks to have been broken then was "re-worked" into a projectile point. You can see the side notches where they were hafting it onto an arrow/dart.
It is a good size, so I agree with either spear or knife. Great find!
