Is this a "Star of David"?

This is another estate sale find from today. It is a little sterling silver piece that measures 3/4"(about the size of a dime) across and is star shaped(6 points) with some blue enamel on one of the triangles that make up the star. It looks like maybe the ten commandments are in the middle of it. Is this a "Star Of David"? Do you think its been a piece of jewelry? It hasn't been attached to anything and doesn't have a loop to be worn on a necklace .
Any help would be appreciated as to what this is! thanks for looking and kind regards~~sandcreek4

Yes the Star of David with the Torah Ten Commandments in the centre.

Real nice. It definately is the 'Star of David'. Is that a hinge I see on the back, or a trick of the light? (2nd photo)

I would say so, and it looks like a necklace pendant. look at the "top" of the point it looks flat, compared to the rest of the points in the pictures. maybe there was a loop at the "top"?

Hey Likely Guy---I think what you are seeing is where the Torah has been applied because there's not a hinge. Thanks for the info and help---really appreciate it . regards~~sandcreek4
