Can anybody tell me if this is what I think it is? :icon_scratch: Or is it just a rock that happens to look like a spear point. If it is real, any guess on how old it might be? I found it this afternoon on a Lake Ontario beach. Geographically, I'm located directly across the lake from Rochester, NY. on the Canadian side.

Thanks very much,
Dave

PS. If this is real and somebody would like to purchase it . . . make me an offer. ;D

Looks like a Geofact to me?

Afraid not...no signs of knapping. As stated, just a cool looking rock (geofact).

I would say unfinished point. I find all kinds of points on my place. Some look like they were started and abandoned. Some you never really know?? Tony

I want to thank everybody for their replies and for your insight into my "pet" rock! :laughing7:

I think that Kuger hit the nail on the head when he suggested . . .
"Looks like a Geofact to me".

Thanks again everyone! :notworthy:
