My Uncle found this in western Queensland, he died recent and I got his rock collection. Nothing too special but this ones interesting. It’s very heavy for its size 780 grams. It’s harder than my pocket knife, it’s smooth, light brown and the lines on it are like creases like it had a skin or shell that shrivelled a little. Any clues?

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard GupRoach! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

2nd - If no one can identify your find - you might consider posting your pictures on ROCKS/GEMS for more exposure...

Welcome to Tnet GupRoach. :hello:
My first thought was a petrified ostrich egg.

My 2nd thought was the same as vpnavy or try posting it in the Artifact Forums

I did a brief search, and a few fossil eggs showed up that were similar to yours. Very cool.
