Is this an L on the button I found?

Is this an L and would it help to ID? I'm new to buttons so I really have no clue?

I don't think so, I'm only basing this on the hundreds I have found.

I can't really guarantee that it is an L but I can say that buttons of this type often have back marks. Common backmarks include several words that might have an L in them such as "GILT" "DOUBLE" or "TREBLE" among others. I'm not sure you'll ever really be able to tell with that one. I guess you'll have to go out and find another.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to look for more. I may go back to that spot tomorrow ,or I may not,my buddy wants to go there with me. I may have to wait for him.
