Hey everyone I was searching a bottle dump and I came across an item that looked like a bullet. Any help would be appreciated!

Don't know. Kinda blurry. Looks to be a cannelured wad cutter, but also looks like it has a ramrod impression? Tony

Looks to be a .38 wadcutter, the grooved rings make it post 1880, but there's really no way to date then accurately.

If you are willing to rule it out of being a casing.... I wanna guess it is a sample lipstick tube. Since it was a dump and I have found a bunch in the trash pits that I have sifted.

Guessing it a Speer .38 caliber wadcutter. Made 1950's to now.

Not a bullet (casing). Walls too thick, no ridge at the bottom to prevent it from going in the barrel and the 'primer' isn't struck.
Cane tip maybe??

But it is a bullet, wadcutter used for scoring pistol target matches because of the very clean hole it produces on the paper target, sometimes the matches are decided by millimeters
