Is this Bracelet Silver?

Hello All. I found this tonight after work at a home site built in the 1880's. The turquoise is real and I cannot imagine the metal not being silver but it looks like silver over copper in places. Any idea on its age or makeup is welcome.

Smell it.

If it smells like copper, it isn't silver. (Copper has a distinct sour odor, rub an old penny and sniff)

If it doesn't smell like copper and if it isn't magnetic, it MIGHT be silver.

The value of this piece, silver or not, is higher as a piece of jewelry imho.
