Looks like petrified wood to me. Pics 4 and 5 look like the outside of an old log. #8 looks like it shows growth rings.
Now is it chalcedony or opal? Both can replace organic material in petrified wood .Do a hardness test. Opal is just slightly softer. Quartz will scratch opal.
