Found a small rock with some crystal attached, it is sliver shiney, with steaks in the texture. Is very heavy, with no magnitic value. Flakey easily. . would like to send photos but don't know how in this forum.

From the description it sounds like "Galena", a sulfide ore of lead. I've always liked that mineral. Where, generally speaking, was it found?
