is this silver?

Yes it is, check coinflation.com for good info on this.

You can tell the percentage by doing the drop test, 50% will not sound as silvery as 80%. No other way to tell it except mingling with densities.

assume it is 50% silver, 0.0375 Oz silver,
though i believe they made 80%ers too at 0.06 oz silver

i just found one yesterday. yes they are silver...non magnetic.....it has a fish one right ?

Yes, they are either 80% or 50%. I really dont care, because if I were to sell those, most dealers treat them as 65% purity silver contest. For sure, you can drop test them, but considering how many I found, I just got bored for non recognizing those and just threw them back.

You dumped the silver dimes?
:laughing7: of course not!
I meant that I threw them back to my generic silver stash, after doing sorting for BU ones to a separate roll of shiny and crisp silver dimes from the year of Centennial.
