Doubtful its worth all that much, but sales tax tokens are collectable and for all I know you've got a rare variety (doubtful, but I'm no expert on the subject). Don't throw it out but I would say its worth about 25-75 cents or so. I find tax tokens in the 15 cent "junk bin" all the time.

hey Nickel Searcher, great metal detecting find! I once found a new hampshire bus token, one of my favorites! much better than an 'average' silver coin that you can find CRH. CRh brings in bulk silver but you can't beat the unique finds of metal detecting
