Evening everyone!

It's been quite awhile since I've done any treasure hunting, save finding the occasional bottle or insulator while train watching, so it felt really good to get out with a detector again. Even though I have thoroughly hunted it ever since moving here in 2005 (and have pulled many great things from the ground) I did a small hunt of my yard and was surprised to find a 1950 wheat penny, along with new clad penny and some junk. Maybe some others are still hiding out there...

So yeah, nothing extraordinary, but it's a start and a good way to return to TNet! We'll be going to GA soon so hopefully I can sneak in a relic hunt or two while there. Thanks for looking and God Bless!

Where at in GA?

Around the Gordon County area. That's where some of my family live.

It's amazing how things keep showing up over the years.

Nice Wheat. There may be more at that place.

I continuously find stuff in my back yard regardless of how many times I have hunted it.
Congratulations on your finds.

Well done sir! Wheat cents hang out with silver coins, perhaps a shiny coin will appear next.

Best of luck to you.

Sweet greenie!
