The International Space station just flew over my house, about 15 minutes ago.I know allot of people don't care about space anymore, but ever since I saw Sky Lab through a telelscope back in the 1970's I've always looked up when ever the news report it flying over my state(TX).
:hello2:

Cool man, my wife and I once saw President Ronald Reagan flying overhead. It was a very large plane surrounded by fighter jets high in the sky.

Didn't you ever go out to look when the space shuttle blazed across on its way to Florida? Huge flaming trail. But I am surprised you could see anything in an Austin sky over the WEED smoke...(just kidding. I live right down the road now, but used to teach at Crockett H.S. and Round Rock before that)

I've seen about 50 flyovers now, and it's always a incredible
sight to see that huge, bright object silently flying overhead.

NASA has a website you can go to and find out when the best
times are to see it flyover:

NASA - Spot The Station

Even on fold, clear nights you can stay warm inside and then step
outside a minute or two before it's supposed to show up. Can't miss it
if you're looking in the right direction!

My wife and kids did get to see the space shuttle once while she drove them from our ranch to school.

Living in Orlando I was able to see the shuttles go up many times. I also went to the coast and saw them go up from only a couple miles away.

I was on the coast watching when the Challenger went up, not knowing it would come back down in pieces.
