It has been a crazy year with what is happening in the world. I have been detecting for 25 years, most of it in farm fields. I have hunted a 1812 location, the land owner burnt all his buildings in 1814, just so the British could not use his building to hide in. Both the Americans and the British used this location. Old taverns are always a nice find. I have a map that was drawn before the railroad came through. This old map has a garrison with a union jack on its roof. With all this covid I have not wanted to approach them in case they told me never to come back, I will be trying this weekend. This button is the front of the old sporting button.
