Garrett- Master Hunter CX,Infinium, 1350, 2500, ACE 150-water converted 250, GTA 500,1500 Scorpion, AT Pro
I am not surprised though......Garrett has been carrying 3 different PI metal detectors since the ATX came out. The Infinium was a great PI detector and has found me plenty of gold!

But....they still have plenty in stock and parts to repair them for many years to come!:hello2:

I think QMaze got the "Good Riddance" shipment.

hahhahaahaah

I'm very happy with my recent purchase. I've been hoping to get this detector since it came out and dreamed of others over the years but always kept this one in my mind just based on its tough build and versatility, I'm very very happy and this is going to be a great year.

Did you build one of these?IMAG0594.webp or get a scoop yet?

I agree with you.....if you compare it's discrimination features/cost against other available machines with similar technologies, the Infinium is a good deal!

I haven't but that floating basket is so awesome. Is that yours? I have a bit of time so trying to spread out the purchases.

I made this one just the other day. Good for one scoop only, it's a tad small but easy to carry on my bike or kayak. As you can see nothing much to it (small milk crate, 2" pvc, 4-90's, one gutter leaf guard, zip ties, chord). My other lasted two years until it floated away. You may not even need one depending the gravel content of where you go. However you will need a scoop, no skirting around that.

The Tesoro Sand Shark is STILL here, and STILL kicking the Infinium's processors! :headbang:

Aww, I'm not picking on the Number One metal detector maker in the World. Just pointing out a fact.

I don't think Garrett would add a GPS or Spinners or WiFi to beat up the price. Do you?

Funny you say that, I have always liked the sand shark and the tiger shark but I've never seen a good review of sand shark anywhere on it's performance. So I eventually put it aside. Anytime I saw it being tested against other detectors it was normally on the lower end of the scale. But what was always appealing is Tesoro's amazing lifetime warranty. As I say I can go by what I came across online, not by actual users in the field. And this isn't a bash cause I do like Tesoros, I tried for years trying to find a used Stingray and gave up.

I just had the mine completely gone through! They had to give me a whole new connection for coil on unit and my mono coil was toast! Nicked it on a rock! Let me pay 1/2 of new coil and I turned my old one in!
