No, i haven't lost my mind (yet!).

It almost rained but barely sprinkled (yea!).
I went to the tot lot where i found the five dollar bill last year. The guy that said he detects it must not have been there for a while, there was a good supply of quarters.:thumbup:
Several of the coins were 65's, just a year short (almost silver). I even got a 1947 nickel (missed that by 2 years). Even scored a dollar coin, you can barely tell what it is, its lost its gold luster.
Jewelry count was 9 pieces, no gold, and only 2 are stamped & maybe silver, the traingular piece and the cross stud earring. Ring is aluminum. There was barely any trash.
All in all a good day!

I also spotted a new place for next weeks hunt, a sports field with a tot lot.
I'm happy...and thats priceless!

Congrats on "happiness" MsBB Looks like you really cleaned up today. I had a day like that yesterday, I pulled almost $10 from a grassy play area (around the swings).

MSB, I have always heard that it rains on the just and unjust and just sprinkles on the hypocrite-LOL. Good coin hunt. We were hunting some woods at a large CW camp many years ago when I found a $5 bill on the leaves behind some houses. My hunting buddy said it was the "find of the day" because it helped buy our lunch. HH, Q.
