Items found in two separate loations

First item was found on Fort Ord Army Base. It was found on the old Army Cavalry practice grounds. The stem has teeth and looks like it would insert in to a hole.


Item 2 was found in an 1800's era park in Woodland Ca.. It appears to made of brass. It almost looks like the tr lever for an animal trap. But I am guessing

Top one appears to be a bench dog or a shelf stop.

Second one might be some type of ratchet pawl.
