Finally fixed my old at3 , the main problem was the coil needed replace and clamps were broken and someone finally listed a parts at3 on ebay with a buy it now for $55 shipped, with working coil and headphones with pads attach and clamps so got it today and my at3 is back after 3 years in the closet collecting dust so can't wait to take her out again

That's great. I had one years ago but sold it after learning it wouldn't handle the salt water beaches.

Good for you!

Yep she doesn't like wet sand on the beach at all,at the moment I am looking for a detector to handle the wet sand and been leaning towards a garrett sea hunter mark ii or one of the whites pi detectors I have around $400-$500 to spend on one so hopefully I can get one and btw glad you are doing ok

The sea hunter is a great PI machine you'll like it, I love mine, plenty deep for anyone ! A hint don't use the nylon bolts use SS bolts with the butterfly bolts, glad you repaired it !
