It's been a few months waiting, but I finally got out after a cold winter!

It was 34 degrees out, and my old park is still about 75% frozen solid, but there's not a lot to do this time here in Michigan so I finally went out to give it a shot. My very first coin was a wheat penny which I damaged because I broke it out of solid ice.
My second good find was a vintage ring, I assume from the 1920s!
The third was a fairly deep wheat penny, 1917!
Excited to hit my old cellar hole spot and eventually get back into my favorite river.

That ring is very cool. Good luck on the ID. Congrats on the early wheat too.

Doesn't it feel good to get back out again. I just started out again last week. Many spots are still frozen or part frozen, but as long as there's some areas I can dig it feels great. Neat ring. HH

Not a bad start, nice job chipping the goods from the ice

Very nice ring

Awesome Charles Lindberg commemorative ring, congrats. Sub8-)

1 more week and all will be good

The Lindbergh ring is a fantastic find! Congrats!
