it's been awhile
was out making the rounds today and with only $110 left in cash i ran across a bank with 280 in fed rolls. I bought what i could and said i'd be back monday for the rest. the first roll i opened had a ben and a 40%, a few expletives cross my tongue and i look over to the rest of the rolls and i see ben staring back to me on two more rolls. I run out to the atm and had to pull the rest out, incurring a 2 $2.00 fees for not being a member of the bank. I think the fees were well spent, total from the $280 was:
44 bens
6 64's
11 40%s
like a good little CRH i asked why they'd ordered them and why they still had some left (banks around here never seem to order halves without them being requested by a customer). I was told a local golf course ordered several boxes for some charity thing and the $280 was what was left.
I wonder how many more bens were in the rest of that one box??! Oh well, i'm definitely not complaining.
