It's small, what is it?
I found this with my DFX today. It was about 8" deep. I couldn't find it with the White's BE II, it has to touch it to alert, but the Garrett PP located it an inch away and homed in on it. It registered as a dime on the VDI, but as you can see, it is much smaller diameter and a tad thicker.
My first guess was an end for a draw string of some sort, maybe off a
"gold" dust pouch(I would like to think), but that's little more than a complete guess and probably wrong. It is not magnetic, silvery color when scratched on the edge, lightweight, so it is probably aluminum and not an end keeper for a gold dust pouch.
