It's time to get, "SERIOUS!"

Oh ya, I'm about to get serious on all my MDing and treasure hunting stuff! Gonna spend the next few days laying it all out, making improvements in some areas, rearranging it, toughening it all up, then repacking it all back in it's proper place in perfect order. Mind you, I have no real reason to do all this, other then I just feel like putting a serious whipping on my MDing and treasure hunting stuff. It's like all those test runs and conditioning drills the fire department, rescure teams, military, and swat teams do. Yep, I'm going to finely hone everything, see to it that it's all up to snuff. One never knows when the call may come!
"Bigscoop, let's take another trip up north! There's lots of lost gold and silver on those beaches!"

(Actually, this is all just a ploy to see if I can entice him. I assure he is watching these forums and that he will eventually arrive upon this one. So please, by all means, feel free to keep adding further enticements as I'm sure he won't be able to hold out for long if you do. Keep in mind, that with each new enticement you will actually be driving him crazy and nudging him closer to the brink. Let's see how long he can hold out? )

PS: Pictures of really good finds, (or possible finds) are sure to drive him completely off the wall!

Well with that being the case, here is my most interesting beach find ever... OK, it wasn't the real stuff, but I nearly dropped when I found it.. Maybe next time I will score the real deal.

It had to be a deep target, but a good target, the tone was faint but very sharp and solid. The first few scoops produced only sand and pea gravel, but that third scoop gathered the source of the signal and now it was on it's way up, leaving in it's wake a fine trail of swirling debris. Through the gin clear water he thought he could see the glitter of gold, there for a moment and then suddenly gone again as the cloud of sand in his rising scoop swirled about in the water. But once or twice he thought he could feel that tell-tell thud, that little vibration in the handle of his scoop that one frequently feels when something heavy makes contact with the wall of the bucket. His eyes were straining to catch another glimpes as his scoop broke the surface, simply through instinct he was now sloshing his scoop about to remove the remaining sand. And then, "Oh my god!" The reflection of gold was so bright and shiny it was nearly blinding, it's huge diamond rock glistening in the morning sun. "Man," he thought quietly to himself as he slipped the ring into it's place of safe keeping, his ears picking up that subtle clang as it settled in on top of the others, "I'm sure glad I took this trip!"
