Just not finding much whole. The quartz triangle was a big heart breaker missing the ear. Most are damaged some place but the scraper which is a new material for me is whole the tan one. Im hoping to find 1 more for my frame. N. GA.

Yep- all good stuff. I am lucky to find anything other than really small flakes !

Most of the points, scrapers & tools I find are Quartz. I'm happy when I find random chert or flint since it's not common in my neck of the woods so I know how cool it is to find worked pieces that are scarce for the area. Cool finds!

Yeah I like the scarce materials myself even if it is just flakes

Quartz is scarce around here, I love to find it. We have a good bit of quartzite. Nice finds Rock

When I found the quartz one and sent you a pic I thought scraper glad I didnt toss it cause it is worked on both sides and would of been a nice point if the ear wasnt missing. My mistake

My normal finds but at least this one from today has some color. Green and black, creek was freezing by the way. 30 degrees today and windy on top of that. Still looking for 1 more for the year, rock

Might have to chisel them out of the frozen ground tomorrow. We still need some rain around here. Haven't had a good heavy rain in a long time. Good hunting to yah.

Its just cold when you 1st get there. Find something and you will warm up quick.
