"J.R. Smith & Co" Milk Glass Bottle
I have found a small milk glass jar in a dumpsite dating mid 1800's to early 1900's. It is 2.5in tall and 2in in diameter and says "J.R. Smith & Co N.Y." on the bottom. Have never seen one like it and its not in my books does anyone know anything about this company? It has a strange type of thread to screw a metal cap on but it had disintegrated. Thanks, JP
