Here are some items that I found in Middle Tennessee with a couple of my hunting friends. It appears to be a cavalry camp with signs of both Confederate and Union occupants. There was also a farmhouse on the property during The Civil War. The field where we found these relics has been plowed many times over the years causing some damage to a few of the pieces we found. Here's what you're looking at: horseshoes w/nails, a slightly damaged bullseye rosette, a U.S. bit boss, a piece of a spur and a bit, a Union coat size General Service button, a flat button(we call them penny buttons), a couple of pieces of spent carbine cartridges, a perfect dropped minie, an Enfield bullet with a strange notch carved in it, a small cuff or kepi General Service button, harmonica pieces, a sword cross guard piece, a piece of an old brass ruler, a lock and key parts, harness and saddle rings, a curry comb piece, chains, iron buckles, a flattened out spoon, a 1911 V Nickel(not Civil War of course), and some other nice unidentified odds and ends.
