Can anyone identify this hallmark of this porcelain plate. I was also wondering the age too.
Thanks!

Hi,

Your mark says "德昌陶瓷". Google translate will mistakenly translate that as "Johnson Ceramics" and/or "German Ceramics" on occasion -- or maybe it isn't a mistake, there might be something special to the word, but more properly you could call it "Dechang Ceramics". What you need to know is, Googling those four Chinese characters will find you similar pieces.

It is not incredibly old or valuable, although it is authentic. You can see Chinese people talking about that here: µÂ²ýÌմɾ«Æ·Ç໨ƿ_µÂ²ýÌմɾ«Æ·Ç໨ƿ¼ø¶¨_À´×Ô²ØÓѹŶANTIQUE_´ÉÆ÷¼ø¶¨_Ãñ¹ú¼ø¶¨_¹ÅÍæ¼ø¶¨¹À¼Û_»ªÏÄÊÕ²ØÍø

One poster asks, "how much is this worth?", and the one reply basically says, "nothing really, cheap and modern design."

Regardless it is a fun and interesting piece. I'd definitely keep it.
