Made a large natural suet feeder a couple of days ago..Nothing more than a tall post made from a small limby dead pine tree....Snipped off the limbs and left enough for natural perches, then drilled 1" diameter holes and filled them with home made suet bird feed.
Steller's Jays like it.

Thanks Hawks, I used a Canon 400mm 5.6L lens for these...Had it wide open at 5.6.....I purposely put the post there about thirty feet in front of the brushy background.
 
I've taken a couple pics of Steller's. I only see them in the the mountains around here. Good work on getting a cooperative subject.
