I was reading a what is it ? thread and a member had
found an old steel lever padlock. It reminded me of an
article that I had read and found that it was recycled on
Popular mechanics.
I enjoyed it and would like to share the article and video
of this clever locking mechanism.
This Amazing 17th Century Lock Has Clever Mechanical Tricks
I can't find it but some members might have also read
about a Russian Chest that had a locking
mechanism that 2 derringers could be equiped
and when the chest was opened to 20 degrees
it would fire the weapons.
