Johnny Carson - The Tonight Show

This morning, my French girlfriend was playing a computer word game, and with a few letters, R_d__y D_n_erfield I guessed the name "Rodney Dangerfield"... easy enough.

Well, I had to show her who he was... and that started me on a youtube journey of the Tonight Show.

I MISS JOHNNY.

I guess I need to buy the videos... surprisingly, the first 10 years of the Tonight Show are missing. I WOULD LOVE to find some home movies of it!

Now THERE is a treasure hunt!

If you ever see the snip where Dolly Parton sings "The Johnny Carson show" it'll bring a tear to your eye... I know it did Johnny!

Johnny Carson was THE ULTIMATE class act IMHO. I sure wish Letterman would have filled his shoes. (as does the rest of America I think)

Nobody can fill Johnny's shoes. I use to love when he would have animals on his show. The looks on his face where priceless. Letterman is cool. Never could get with Jay.

I too agree that no one could fill Johnny shoes. I Miss him. I think that if they reshow his program he would still get good rating.
