Went out to an old elementary school that I attended back in 1955 since it was Spring break I had the place to myself. After digging some clad I got a jumpy nickle-quarter signal on my Ace 250 but both were solid not jumping all over the place like trash does. I cut my plug and found a small piece of can slaw, I checked again with my Pro Pointer and in the bottom of the plug after scrapping off a bit of dirt I could see the outline of a ring, at first I thought it was silver but when I got it out the weight of it told me different. It is 14k white gold, weighs in at .408 troy ounces I had a jeweler friend weigh it for me. My first gold ring!
