Profit deal on a book is as good a treasure find as any other!

Correct. One of the treasures is stuff he bought at the Fenn auction and was apparently the inspiration. There’s 5 hidden treasures, each with a different theme, in different locations and the book should have all the clues.

I’ve been too busy to dig into this so I don’t know if it is like Fenn tried to do to get people outdoors or not. I don’t believe it is since a couple of people died searching for Fenn’s. My father and I spent a week in the mountains looking for Fenn (and got close to where it is said it was found) but too many greenhorns thought they were Davey Crockett and got themselves hurt.

Edit: I meant to say “get people to the mountains”. This one is to get people outdoors but I don’t know if it is in the same type of landscape.
