Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Cold and steady 30-mph wind on Field #6 at 7:00am! Met Rem and Joe for low tide, and rocked Three-quarters; Three-dimes; One-nickel; and Six-pennies in 4.5-hours of detecting! Two-dimes and a penny came out of the wet and dry sand, the rest was in the water. At least the company was priceless! The beach has been heavily sanded most of the summer, and there is a sandbar about 80-yards out that isn't helping matters much. New Moon low on Wednesday, so I'll try it one more time before heading to Arizona. Here are a couple of shots from this morning, including Joe rocking his "Jones Beach Rippers" tee! :headbang:

Beautiful but I don't miss the south shore chill.
