Julius Sterling Morton THe Founder of Arbor Day

The masses are celebrating Julius Sterling Morton's Arbor Day this week end in Nebraska City, Nebraska. They will plant trees and visit Arbor Lodge, Morton's home. Thousands of people will file past and look at the beautiful hand carved stone monuments of ART. 99.9% of them will not have a clue to what the man stood for or the symbolism he and his Brothers of the Knights of the Golden Circle left behind for them to see. It is a matter of natural selection that they put in place in order to select a possible candidate for a task at hand they want completed. From their graves our founding fathers have left a message for a future generation to reap.
