July 4 & 5 with Minelab's new Pro 11 inch Coil

Well, the wife wanted to go to Pueblo; 90 miles north to do a little July 4th shopping. So, what's a boy to do?
Oblige, no doubt! I loaded her FJ Cruiser up with my MD'ing gear leaving just enough room for new clothes and shoes!
Arlyn, my wife dropped me off at a local park on the south side of town and proceeded on her way. Good thing I thought
to keep the OFF; mosquitos were partying too. As a local band played BORN TO BE WILD, I proceeded swinging; keeping time with the beat finding a little
silver (?-no markings) wedding band almost immediately. Swinging for 3 hours didn't net much else other than a 1918s Merc. dime, 37d & 43s wheat, and
Emma's lost dog tag. One of the wheats got tumbled in Thumbler's Tumbler by mistake. Oh well, things happen!
Yesterday, July 5th I stayed local; hunting a local college, a tot lot, and park. Still, the really good finds eluded me.
I did manage to find a cheap ring, giving me three rings for 4 hunts! The nickels, gathered over two days are evidence I was definitely on the hunt for gold! The find of the day had to be the obselete rifle casing Cal. 40-82 WCF! The other letters appear to be W.R.A.D.? The brass nail/peg was found a few days ago. I tumbled it along with several of the coins shown for an hour or so. I'd like to have a bucket of those unbroken! The junk is a small sampling of two days worth of nothingness. The lower part of a hand warmer appears pretty old as it is brass/copper? Oh, by the way the nickel plated disc with the hole in it? I had a hard time recovering it because the ground was hard and dry. I thought I had me a silver dollar. The disc was down a SUNRAY probe deep!
I wish I had better finds to report my friends but it was fun!
Minelab's new 11 inch Pro coil performed just fine; again, beeping on the smallest of objects. One thing more I like about this coil, I can swing a little faster in ALL METAL MODE (all disc. patterns cleared-iron mask off). I'm still cranking SENS up to 32 MAX utilizing SEMI-AUTO-SENS but tomorrow I'm going to experiment using MANUEL SENS. I do wish my SunRay X1 probe could handle the extra sensitivity as it is chirpy and PINPOINT is difficult to use. I'd be interested if any of the other PRO coil users are experiencing the same dilemma?
Thank you for allowing me to share!
