July 4th PLAT

Spent July 4th at an east coast beach. Got in a few day hunts and 2 night hunts, but not on the 4th, to many rockets flying. You needed a flak jacket. Found a 10.5 gram ring in the wet sand marked ESL PLAT, does anyone know what or who ESL is?
