Has anyone prospected on the Gold Creek in Juneau Alaska? Is it public all the way to the glacier? Can you us a sluice? Thanks JOHN

Its been awhile since I was in that country but from what I remember I thought there was claims filed on it but that might have changed by now.

You’re allowed to pan from the bottom to the top. There’s no glacier connected to it but there are quite a few past the headwaters. No claims and no sluicing, however you’re allowed to sluice below the metal car bridge as they call it.
