Here's a very old button I've not been able to ID. It has a nice green patina and appears to have been ripped off somebody's coat.

Help me move it out of the junk box. What is it?

I can make out "Australian Military....." but whats the last word? Oh, never mind, I found it.... its "forces". Heres a site with your button on it...

It seems this stuff is mostly from WWI. It's older than I thought. I guess I'd better check all this other stuff I have.

This shows once again that "you can't judge a book by it's cover." At first I thought these digs were just cheap repros or something.
