Over the years I've dug several old rusted out pocket knives. I sometimes think about throwing them in a display just as a conversation piece. I'm curious what "junk" items others have put in displays although they may have no material value.

Those are a good start for display case. IDK pocket knifes but can see that yours would make a nice start. I have a few hand-me-downs that I to would like to display and hand down to my children. Thanks for sharing. PS: Every thing has value be it material or sentimental.
 

Had forgotten about this find. One of my first finds last year.........not really "dug". Discovered it in some tall grass............

Nice display.

I'm still looking for a good way to preserve them , ie. Stop the rust while saving Wood handles, & other handle types.
 

Not junk!Every day working knives any one might have had in their pocket.
