I dug this up last fall and just threw it in my junk pile. Not sure if it's an old coin or should it return to the junk pile. It's about the size of a dollar and the thickness of a quarter and weighs 11g. Any info would be great. Thanks

I'd at least scrape the edge. I've dug some pretty nasty coppers, fertilizer will sure corrode 'em.

Start with a magnet test. Then soak it for a day or two in vinegar. Rub/neutralize with baking soda and rinse. Might bring out some details.

I agree...clean it up and then decide. You never know. Is the pics of the front AND back?
