So I just got back into detecting and am chomping at the bit to get to an old foundation site. Did some practice hunting in my own yard and came up with these:

Looks like there's potential in your own yard, not bad!

Great finds so far man. How old is your house?

My house was built in the 1950s but I live on a river in Maine and it's been settled here since the mid 1600s so you never know. A lot of history in my area

Looks like you could be sitting on an excellent site for finds.Good luck.HH.

Yea, take your time, grid it off and dig it all! Gonna be a bunch more to find! In all probability, a lot of people have traveled over that ground. Could be some really old coinage there.

Those are really cool man! Keep hitting that yard! All I can ever find in my yard is dog and cat crap!

Hey docbeav,
I dig plenty of that too! But I am pretty encouraged by what I've pulled out so far. I wish that old button was in better shape. I don't mind digging my best buddies crap to get to the good stuff :-)
