Just Bought a Metal Detector

Hi everyone!

I haven't been metal detecting in 25 years but I was finally able to buy a Garrett Ace 400. I live in Southwest Florida and have read the beaches down here are hit or miss (lots of cans and other trash) but I'm going to try my luck. I'm also interested in seeing if I can get permission to hunt some of the inland properties I've seen with old, abandoned farm houses. Not sure how well that'll work out but it doesn't hurt to try. I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
